Design Development Cycle
1. Initial investigation
- Understand the client's specification.
- Understand the project proposal and identify the problem.
2. Preparation
- Conduct research and apply design theories and methodologies such as ethnography, interview, survey, cultural probe, schema, journey framework, trend board, information model, pattern language, usability test and participatory design workshop.
- Draft wild ideas during brainstorming session.
- Develop multiple concept prototypes.
- Generate alternative solutions.

3. Incubation
- Reflect on the problem and reexamined the concept prototype.
- Conduct participatory design workshop and usability test with focus group.
- Modify the prototype based on user's inputs and feedbacks.

4. Illumination
- Conduct second participatory design workshop and usability test with focus group.
- Fine-tune the prototype based on user's recommendations and feedbacks.
5. Verification
- Implement and test final design prototype.
